Tourism is one of the largest industries in the UK, generating revenue of £125bn per annum and employing 2.7m people. The size, and potential, of the industry is enormous.

Tourism receives virtually no government or public sector support at a local level! 


As John Penrose has said "The outbound trade has a vast amount spent on it ... and the domestic market has had almost nothing spent on it."
